This beautiful home is located in Wells Branch, located just 13 miles north of downtown Austin, TX.  The Wells Branch area was first settled sometime around 1827 and was recorded to have been a spy and a scout post for Texans during battles in Goliad and San Antonio, when the Republic of Texas declared their independence from Mexico.

This small but rapidly-expanding area is near the Mills Pond reservoir on Wells Branch creek, a tributary of Walnut Creek, which travels south though Austin, and eventually becomes a tributary of the Colorado River.

Wells Branch is also home to the Wells Branch Homestead.  Built in 1853, the Homestead consists of an original log cabin and several realistic, early Texas structures.  The cabin, furnished with authentic artifacts, provides a vivid look into the past and what life was like on the Texas frontier.

Nearby Wells Branch is The Domain, which consists of 100 upscale and mainstream stores and restaurants in a park-like setting.

It's hard to imagine an area with more convenient access to a better city than Austin.  We all know how cool Austin is, so let's let it speak for itself:  https://www.austintexas.org/.
