Upgrades:

1) The location! Our home is off of Booty’s Crossing Road, which dead ends (no increased traffic in years to come!) into Booty’s Road Park, the San Gabriel River, and the 26 miles of the Good Water Loop trail system. We walk the 0.4 miles to the trail from our home several days a week and enjoy the nature and beauty. It’s the best combination to have a newer home in an older, established part of Georgetown that is just 3 miles to the historic Georgetown Square, 2 miles to I-35, and 3 miles to Costco. (Also, we can ride our bikes on the trail down to the Square!)

2) The beautiful, private backyard! It’s like living in the country, in the city J The covered patio allows for four season use of the backyard, wonderful for entertaining, watching deer and birds, having peace and quiet with the backyard opening to beautiful acreage with beautiful, historic oak trees.

3) Our great room! Our huge (!!) great room is wonderful for holidays and family gatherings with the beautiful fireplace that anchors the room and 5 large windows and a sliding door that seem to expand the room into the beautiful backyard.

4) The privacy! Every window in the house opens to trees, or our own backyard, not to our neighbors.

5) The kitchen! As a wanna-be chef, the kitchen is a dream with the gas stove, expansive counter space, and plenty of cabinet space for all my kitchen gadgets.

6) Having a guest room and bathroom downstairs gives us (and our guests) just the right amount of privacy.

7) So much storage space makes this house easy to keep clean and organized!

8) The big, comfortable loft is so nice when the kids want to hang out or watch TV while we have something else going on downstairs

9) The wonderful neighbors.
